The Church of Social Media with Aaron Renn

Today on the Two Mikes, we spoke with Arron Renn, who is a specialist on the development

and status of U.S, cities, and writes frequently on the subject. Mr. Wren also is a strong

Christian and works with programs of life guidance that help men find their way back to their

faith. Mr. Renn says that in this area the usual authorities are “missing in action”. He added that

the bottom line for the Protestant sects can be seen in a review of public opinion of the faith

since 1964,

--From 1964 to 1994, approval of the Protestant faith was beginning to decline, but the

public view of the faith was positive.

--From 1995 to 2015, the decline in Protestant faith continued to decline and the public

view of the faith was less positive than previously.

--From 2014-2025, the decline of the Positive faith continued and the public showed little

positive feeling for the faith.

Today, Mr. Renn explained, that America’s society is definitely existing in a post-Christian

Era, marked by wide support for drugs, abortion, and gambling.

President Trump’s election victory has induced what Mr. Renn called “vibe change” in the

United States. The best evidence of this is Trump’s winning the popular vote and the strong

support he had from Christian voters. The president is a strong supporter of Christianity, which

complements the polling data that Gen Z men are coming back to church. The question of

course, is how long will this nascent trend continue?

Mr. Renn noted that Trump’s pro-Christianity words are important, but without actions their

importance may be transient. He suggested such moves as creating special tribunals for the

suppliers of opioids, and getting rid of the press corps at the White House, and instead conduct

the traditional daily briefing on X. Overall, Trump’s win and governing so far has kept the

above-mentioned positive vibe alive, but for those Americans devoted to strengthening

Christianity, the next few years are capable of producing a high variance outcome. SPONSORS
