The Price of Israeli Hubris with Jack Maxey

After reviewing the media reporting and comments by

governments about the war with Iran, we and our guest Jack

Maxey can only suggest that the consensus appears to be that,

while there are a variety of positive reports from officials in

Washington and even a few in the mainstream media, the

open-source reporting available increasingly seems to be

misleading. Needless to say, Americans are not watching

anything that looks like near-term victory, and are being given

no accurate reports on the number of American military and

intelligence personnel that have been killed or wounded in this

extremely violent war. And, of course, Americans are still

waiting for the first accurate report on the current total of U.S.

casualties that have occurred in Ukraine war.

Indeed, the sum of the media reporting about the Iran war on

Youtube and other such international platforms, shows that the

war continues at a steadily increasing pace and that the Iranian

arsenal not only continues to supply the means for Tehran to

launch heavy daily attacks on Israel, but that the Iranian attacks

have all but destroyed Israel’s so-called air-defense miracle –

namely, the Iron Dome and its partner systems. Odd that this

task has been performed by the same Iranians who the Israelis

never tire of describing as inferior people or animals. It must be

imagined that the arrogant and all-knowing Israelis are more

than a bit surprised that Iran-made, highly sophisticated

missiles are piling up civilian casualties, and breaking up Israel’s

cities, military facilities, accommodations for nuclear scientists,

military cohesion, the facilities for producing nuclear weapons,

and dozens of other vital facilities that will leave Israel – if it

survives – with a nightmarish period of body recovery,

reconstruction, and political unrest. The media, moreover are

now suggesting that Yemen’s Houthi forces are firing effective

missiles into Israel in support of Iran’s offensive. Earlier 2026

reports suggesting that the Houthi’s military power had been

negated now appear somewhat premature. Every Israeli also is

being taught an awful but appropriately painful lesson about

the price of extreme arrogance, hubris, and the foolishness of

defining people as less than human beings simply because they

are Muslims and Americans.

For the U.S. population, the war appears, at this point, to be a

continuation of the 75-year long string of U.S. interventionist

military debacles. Each of these wars have been conducted

without Constitutional sanction and were started by one man’s

decision – the president. Each of these illegal, unnecessary,

costly, and losing interventionist wars were started and ended

at his pleasure. The currently developing debacle in Iran surely

must be persuading many voters that ultimately the only

plausible interpretation of the Constitution must be reapplied

so America is no longer led by dictatorial War-Loads who ignore

the Constitutional requirement that the majority approval of

both houses of Congress – and with that, the clearly implied

approval of the American people -- to draft and sign a formal

and lawful declaration of war, without which no president has

the constitutional authority to start or wage war, save in a case

of U.S. territory being subjected to a surprise attack. As things

now stand, every war America has fought since 1945 has been

a thoroughly illegal affair that was proclaimed from the White

House by the War-Lord of the day. In the current case, the War-

Lord is Trump.

Once our War-Lords are decisively neutered by the

reapplication of law, and Congress’s sole constitutional power

to declare war is cemented back into place, these 500-plus

cowards will be forced to man-up and begin to exercise their

clear and sole responsibility on the issue of starting wars. On

that issue, voters must make it clear – possibly via nationwide

referendum -- that no American life can be expended simply

because all of the Congress, the president, and the corps of U.S.

flag officers are willing to sacrifice the lives of America’s young

by fighting for countries that long have suborned the U.S.

Congress, generals, presidents, media leaders, large religious

groups, and U.S. based, but foreign-controlled, treasonous

organizations that lobby and bribe generals, politicians,

businessmen, and media in favor one specific foreign nation.

In sum, such countries, as well as alliances like NATO, are only

interested in receiving American funding and seeing its young

service men and women used to die to protect their interests,

perhaps even their existence. There is not one nation on the

face of this earth that even remotely merits the performance of

such a task by the U.S. citizens who form the U.S. military.
