YOU ARE GETTING PASSED OVER

Today, on the Two Mikes, we welcomed back Mr. Fred Coulter, pastor of the Biblical Church of

Christ in Hollister California. We discussed a number of issues. Given the approach of Easter,

Mr. Coulter noted that in biblical terms most Protestants and Catholics are off the mark. The

current notion is that Christ was crucified on Friday and died late that afternoon. He was buried

late in the day on Friday and rose from the dead early Sunday morning. This scenario in no way

meshes with the Bible, which says the Lord rose was entombed for three days and three nights.

He also added that it’s hard to figure out what rolling or hiding colored eggs and baskets filled

with chocolate and jelly beans have to with honoring the resurrection of Jesus.

Mr. Coulter also said there is great confusion about the Bible’s discussion of Israel. The Israel of

biblical times does not exist today. The Israel of biblical times consisted of the 12 tribes not the

one tribe that today rules Israel, one that rejects the New Testament. Catholics and many

Protestants, as noted above, are well wide of the mark when it comes to understanding the

Bible. These mistakes often revolve around the supposedly easy way of ridding oneself of sin--

simply declare you are sorry for your sins, and all is well. No, this is not the case, and much of

the clergy seems not to preach that obvious truth. The indispensable colleague of effectively

ridding yourself of sin involves thereafter living and acting in the fashion described by the Ten

Commandments and elsewhere in the Bible. Living the life God wants begins with knowing that

God has a purpose for both the world and for each person in it. The Bible says that in the later

days “you should understand the Bible perfectly” and if people live a life cognizant of those

words they will know that faith is a life-long endeavor and an understanding of God’s words

“perfectly” and the only way for humans to achieve salvation is to keep on the straight and

narrow as described by God. Man, after all, should not live on bread alone, but on every word

of God.

The main threat posed today to all believers is, of course, the increasing power of Satan on this

earth. Satan is a liar and, really, the father of lies. In these days, Satan has increasing numbers

of allies in the form of politicians, entertainers, journalists, professors, and businessmen, but

also among preachers, priests, and ministers who are willing to soften or disguise the Bible’s

truths, and to abet the lies of politicians and other public figures. Catholic clergy, for example,

can be said to be adept at teaching – with few exceptions -- the Catholic tradition of the day,

rather than the priority of God’s words. Certainly worse, was the recent craven skeptical of

Protestant and Catholic clerics rushing to support the U.S. governments orders to keep places

of worship closed during the pandemic, which was, of course, caused by the federal

government and its paymasters in Big Pharma. When the clerics acted in this manner it was not

because of the power of God, but because of the power of man – of Satan -- in the form of the

federal government. The clerics feared that by protecting and leading their flocks and keeping

places of worship open they would lose their federal tax exemptions, and so did their duty to

money and not their duty to God and his faithful. Subsequently, it seems that none of the

Christian clergy has come out and apologized to their flocks for accepting the federal

government’s pandemic lies and threats, for denying believers God’s haven-on-earth in houses

of worship, and, so far, have failed to condemn the federal government, its media acolytes, and

the vaccine makers for murdering so many millions of people around the world.
